Waiting on Wednesday: Revelations

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. It spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

For this week I've chosen a sequel I've been thinking about for months.

Title: Revelations
Series: Elysium Chronicles, #2
Release date: November 5th 2013
Publisher: Tor Teen
Hardcover, 352 pages
Pre-order: The Book Depository

The follow-up to J. A. Souders’s riveting SF psychological thriller for teens, Renegade
Six weeks ago, Evelyn Winters was locked away in Elysium, a city hidden miles beneath the sea, brainwashed into submission. With the help of Gavin, she fought free of her captors and the fog in her own mind. He took her back with him to the Surface, a world she's never known. Now she will begin a new life.

But her past is closer than she thinks...

I adored the first book, contrary to my expectations, and I can't wait to see where Souders will take the story next. She is an excellent writer and an even better worldbuilder.

What are you guys excited about this week? Please leave me a link to your WoW post and I'll be right there.
Love,

  2. That cover is eye-catching! I still need to read the first in this series. I didn't do a WOW this week but the book I am most waiting on is World After, the sequel to Angelfall. I feel like I've been waiting on that one forever.

  8. YES! I read nothing about this which was strange since there was a decent amount of hype/publicity about Renegade, but I'm hoping this is good. I really enjoyed the first one and am hoping there's no MBS issue with this. Great pick, Maja!(:
