Sunday Post (2)

Hi everyone!

It's been two weeks since I'd done my last Sunday Post, and a lot has happened since then, both blog-related and personal. December is always busy for me, but I'm enjoying it a lot so far.

Here's what I've been up to lately:

The Lovely Cassie Alexander, author of Nightshifted and Moonshifted, wrote a guest post about her experience during Hurricane Sandy. Cassie is a registered nurse and her post is amazing so make sure to check it out. There's also a giveaway of signed and personalized copies of her first two books.

I reviewed:
Trapped (The Iron Druid Chronicles, #5) by Kevin Hearne
Love and Other Perishable Items by Laura Buzo
Moonshifted (Nightshifted, #2) by Cassie Alexander

Next week, my reviews of Defiance by C.J. Redwine and The Assassin's Curse by Cassandra Rose Clarke will be posted.
Now, here's what I have to share.

Sarah Fine, author of Sanctum, one of my favorite 2012 releases, kindly sent me a bonus scene from Malachi's point of view and two Sanctum wristbands, one of which my daughter immediately stole.

Let the Right One In by John Ajvide Lindqvist

Ebooks:

Vessel by Sarah Beth Durst
Pivot Point by Kasie West
The Space Between Us by Jessica Martinez

What did you guys get? Leave me a link and I'll be right there.

  3. I read your review on Pivot Point on GRs but I don't think you put it up here yet. Based on that I guess I need to lower my expectations somewhat. I too received the chapter in Malachi's POV from Sarah Fine. I just need to read that gem! I can't wait to see what you thought of Defiance! Enjoy your reads Maja. :)

  4. I got Moonshifted a few days (well, about two or more weeks, actually) ago and still have to read it.. I'm actually REALLY wary because I liked the first one, and.. second book syndrome is a thing to be afraid of etc. pp. Bookmarked this post so that, once I read it, I can check your review! :)

Maja such a cute haul this week, I remember we both loved Martinez Virtuosity, so I can't wait to see what you think of The Space Between Us, I don't think I've seen many reviews around for it, so as per usual I'll be stalking your updates! Vessel has just the most gorgeous cover ever! I hope the book lives up to it too! Hope you enjoy all your reads hun! :)

  22. *sigh* December is the busiest month for me too, and I feel sort of pathetic because of my lack of blog posts... Anyhow, awesome haul, Maja. :) Pivot Point and Vessel both have fascinating premises, and I look forward to your opinions of them both. Also, I can hardly wait for your review of The Assassin's Curse - I really liked it, despite some of the flaws. :) Enjoy your goodies, Maja darling!
