Hi guys,
welcome to Leap Into Indie giveaway hop, hosted by Paranormal Wastelands and Can't Put It Down. There's been a lot of talk about self-publishing lately, and even though there are still people who resist this trend, it cannot be denied that there are some pretty amazing self-published works out there. We all adored Angelfall, didn't we? And, incredibly enough, Christopher Paolini self-published Eragon before Knopf picked it up.
Unfortunately, we had to chose just one book to give away this time, and since we both absolutely adored Flat-Out Love and it's available on The Book Depository, that's what you can enter to win today. Flat-Out Love is one of the very few books on my 'books that changed me shelf', one of my favorite 2011 releases and even one of my favorite books of all-time. Everyone who knows me knows that I rarely read contemporary romance, but I'm so glad I decided to read this one. If you're interested in our reviews, just follow the links:
Oh my gosh, this is such a great idea! I love indie authors so much because they really rock the world with deciding to self-publish -- and you're definitely right! There are so many awesome self-published books out there! :) I've heard amazing things about Angelfall and Flat-Out Love, and I'm excited to read them both (especially considering how much you loved Flat-Out Love)!
Thank you so much for the amazing giveaway, you two!! And I'm really glad that you're feeling better, Maja -- we're excited to have you back! :) <3
This book has been on my wishlist ever since Maja reviewed the book and I've been hearing good things about this book. So thanks for the giveaway ladies!
I thought I had read some Indie books but I haven't :( I'm currently reading my first one Fifty shades of Grey by E.L James and its okay so far. Thanks again for a great giveaway!
Oh, my God! The fever must have burned something really important in my brain. But no, I didn't think you were a lunatic. After all, the world Iwant to visit has zombies and people shower in bleach, hon. :D Who am I to judge?
Angelfall is one of the best indie novels out there - and definitely the best I have ever read. There are a lot of great gems hidden in the self-published world! I haven't read Flat Out Love but I'm hoping I can soon. ;) Thanks for the giveaway!
I love indie novels, their stories have an original taste that aren't usually seen! Some of the best books I read are indies too! This giveaway is so sweet, I'm sure that many indie authors really need a publication to get world know about their awesome books! It's so lovely that you take part in this giveaway! <3
I'm so glad to see you back, Maja! I hope that you're feeling well now! :)
I'm so glad you're putting a spotlight on these books. I loved Angelfall and Flat-Out-Love. I even signed on for the enhanced edition project Jessica Park has going on for Flat-Out-Love. I can't wait to see how it turns out. :)
Wow! I had not heard of Flat-Out-Love, but reading your reviews makes me realize that it's a must read for me. I'm a huge indie author fan, and I'm following a slew of them now. My reading life has been enriched phenomenally because of them, so I thank you so much for this wonderful blog hop, and broadening my horizons even more!
If you haven't read Unlovable by Sherry Gammon yet, it's a very realistic story of a young woman in a very dysfunctional life.
If you like paranormal, I'd recommend Bonnie Bernard's Midnight Hunter Trilogy. I couldn't put it down!
Flat out love is by far one of the best book I've read so far! this book is flat out amazing and me winning this would be flat out out of this world! =)
My favourite indie books are by Megg Jensen. I frigging adore her Cloud Prophet trilogy so so much! I was super excited that the day I happened to get my Kindle, her first book in the series was free on Amazon. It was destiny for me to read her ;) and I'm so happy I did!
